Hello

My name is Simon and I’m a generalist designer who thrives on utilizing a diverse set of talents to get stuff done. For this reason I was excited and curious about your position on Behance for a "Designer & Inventor."

I know I'm a designer but then I started to think about what it means to be an inventor. My grandfather was an inventor in the traditional engineering sense but then I realized that I am an inventor as well. Check out something I recently built for my 3 year old son:

my cardboard garage100% cardboard garage with working 3-level ramp!

Of course I don't just build things out of cardboard. I'm also a fan of wood, metal, pixels, html, css, javascript and php. I've never really made infographics but I'm sure I could figure out what it takes to make a successful one.

With that said I think I would be a valuable asset to your team given my ability to create innovative digital experiences and readiness to interact with members throughout the entire design process (prototyping, designing, development and deployment).

A few of the core strengths I can bring to this role:

My most recent gig has been “stay-at-home father” – which has consequently “honed” my multitasking and project management abilities. I’ve kept my other skills sharp by building my own portfolio site from scratch, as well as working on various independent projects which can all be found at SIMEdesign.net.

co:collective is not only a strategy and innovation company but also sounds like a great place to grow, learn and really make an impact. I am ready to rejoin the workforce and help shape the future of design for brands and businesses at such a dynamic organization.

for your time
